Branding: A Taste of Tuddenham

Objective

Highly-respected boutique hotel and restaurant Tuddenham Mill needed an identity that communicated its brand properly.

Results

  • A brand which has already received much positive feedback from customers and critics alike.

Spring collaborated with Tuddenham Mill to create a modern brand design which was in keeping with their unique offering: a highly respected, chef-patron led boutique hotel in the Suffolk countryside.

Having worked with them through workshops, peer analysis and audience insight, we came to the positioning of ‘Hideway on the Stream’ and took as our starting point for design the millstone, from the mill pond besides which the hotel sits.

The circle and square millstone logo is very heart of the Tuddenham Mill identity. We drew this out into a series of applications which are used online, in print and a number of real world uses.

We also created a new colour palette, tone of voice and font scheme which more accurately reflected the personality and offering of this high-end hideaway on the stream.
