Objective

To create the 14 individual brand websites for Britain’s third largest self-catering business.

Results

  • 36% increase in bookings.
  • 148% increase in bookings via mobile, 75% on tablet and 13% on desktop - 36% increase in total.
  • Mobile visits rose from 25% to 159% and conversion rates by 25%.

As more people use mobile devices to plan and book their holidays, TOCC asked Spring to help them get match fit to make the most of the opportunity.
We worked with them to introduce new, responsive sites for their national and regional brands that adapt seamlessly to desktop, tablet or mobile use – sites that are functionally as well as visually tailored.

The websites are customer-led, with a focus on search and with information fed differently depending upon the device they used, with an enhanced ‘Wishlist’ widget to simplify the booking process.

Whilst templated for back of house speed and efficiency and a consistent customer experience across brands, the sites cleverly maximise personalisation of home pages by regional agencies to ensure communication of their brand, expertise and property portfolio.

The sites saw 148% increase in bookings via mobile, 75% on tablet and 13% on desktop – 36% increase in total. Mobile visits rose from 25% to 159% and conversion rates by 25%.

For Suffolk Secrets, the brand receiving the most online traffic, the increase in mobile traffic of 72.65% took traffic on this device from 27,971 to 48,291 visits.
